Hace más de una semana que saqué estas fotos (sí, he estado un poco haragana), así que no estoy 100% segura de qué es esto. Creo que es el costado del museo Ashmolean. Es el museo de la historia de la ciencia, y tiene cosas muy interesantes adentro.
It's been over a week since I took this photos (yes, I've been a little lazy), so I'm not 100% sure of what this is. I think it's the Ashmolean Museum, viewed from the side. It's the museum of the History of Science, and houses some very interesting exhibits.
Mismo edificio, nada en particular, sólo me gustó cómo salió la foto.

Estas siguientes fotos son de Balliol, uno de los colleges de Oxford. Re nerd, yo, lo primero que pensé cuando lo vi fue "ah, acá fue donde fue Lord Peter Wimsey!". Lord Peter es un personaje de Dorothy Sayers y uno de los detectives más famosos de la novela de misterio británica, además de ser mi favorito (creo que le tengo más cariño que a Poirot, incluso!)
These next photos are of Balliol, one of Oxford's colleges. Nerd that I am, the first thing I thought when I saw it was "Ah, this is Lord Peter Wimsey's college!" Lord Peter is a character created by Dorothy L. Sayers and one of the most famous detectives in the English mystery genre, as well as being my favourite (I think I'm fonder of him than I am of Poirot, even!)
Esta última me dio gracia. El edificio tan elegante y digno, pero cuando mirabas de cerca veías que una de las personas que vive ahí (algún estudiante, probablemente), había colgado su camisa a secar en la ventana!
I thought this last one was funny. The building was so elegant and dignified, but when you looked closely, you could see one of the people living there (a student, most probably) had hung his shirt to dry in the window!
Mezcladas entre los edificios de piedra, hay muchas de estas casas, que son del tipo half-timbered (creo que se traduce "de entramado de madera").
Sprinkled in the midst of those stone buildings are many of these old half-timbered houses.
A la entrada de Carfax tower, uno de los lugares desde donde se tienen las mejores vistas de Oxford. Carfax tower es todo lo que queda de una iglesia del siglo XIII.
Standing before Carfax tower, one of the places where you get the best views of Oxford. Carfax tower is all that's left of a 13th century church.
