In the post with Part 1 of my Bath pics you can find the Roman Baths and the Abbey. Those two places alone took us about half the time we had for the whole city, so we had to rush to see all the other things we wanted to see.

Coming out behind the Abbey you can see the Parade Gardens, a beautiful park on the river Avon. According to my travel guide, it was very popular among 18th century couples for scandalous secret assignations!
Este es el puente Pulteney, también sobre el río Avon. Fue construido en el s. XVIII y es uno de los pocos del mundo que tiene tiendas cubriendo toda su extensión.
This is Pulteney bride, crossing the river Avon. It was built in the 18th century and it's one of the very few in the world which has shops all across it.
Un callejón cualquiera, al costado de una de las calles principales. Como ven, hay lucecitas de Navidad colgadas a través de la calle. Acá ya comienzan a decorar las ciudades para Navidad muy temprano.

Esto es The Circus, una plaza circular con un parque en el medio y tres segmentos de edificios a su alrededor. Como dije arriba, se considera uno de los mejores ejemplos de la arquitectura georgiana.
This is the Circus, a circular square (sounds strange to write it like that, lol!) with a park in the middle and three segments of buildings around it. As I said above, it's considered to be one of the best examples of Georgian architecture.
Este edificio son los Assembly Rooms, los salones de Asamblea. Junto con los Baths, eran el centro de la vida social de Bath en el siglo XVIII y XIX. Acá era donde tenían lugar los eventos sociales como fiestas y reuniones.
El día que fuimos no estaban abiertos para visita, ya que estaban siendo usados para un casamiento. Lo único que estaba abierto era el Museum of Costume, un museo de la vestimenta, que comparte el edificio.
This building contains the Assembly Rooms. With the Baths, they were the centre of Bath's social life in the 18th and 19th century. Here is where social events like balls and parties took place.
On the day we went there they weren't open to visitors, as they were being used for a wedding. The only thing that was open was the Museum of Costume, housed in the same building.
Y este es Royal Crescent, considerado por muchos como la calle más majestuosa de Gran Bretaña. Se trata de un gran parque rodeado en un lado por un semicirculo de casas georgianas. En mis fotos no se ve del todo bien, pero si hacen click aca pueden ver una vista panorámica del mismo.
And this is the Royal Crescent, considered by many the most majestic street in Britain. It's a large park which has on one side a wide semicircle of Georgian houses. You can't really see it all that well in my photos, but if you click here, you can see a panoramic view.
Afuera del Jane Austen Centre. Jane Austen vivió durante varios años en Bath, y partes de sus novelas como Persuasion y Northanger Abbey transcurren allí.

Queen Square y la puerta del Nº 13 de Queen Square, donde mi guía de viajes indica que vivió Jane Austen. No lo juraría, ya que no encontramos ninguna indicación de que fuera así... ninguna placa ni cartel, lo que me suena raro.
